Hampton Inn & Suites Chippewa Falls

We only needed a room for one night and booked earlier that day. Check-in was easy, and everyone we dealt with was pleasant. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely equipped; it turned out to be an accessible room, which explains the extra space. Our queen beds were firm and had several firm pillows each. The large bathroom was clean too, with good water pressure and plumbing that worked well. Breakfast was impressive for a complimentary meal. Along with yogurt, fruit, cereal, and muffins, there were warmers with sausage, potatoes, and omelettes. The lobby and open seating areas had the familiar Hampton look, with a dining area for breakfast. I'd stay again next time we're in town.

A maintenance worker called one of our players gay because he was wearing an earring. That's completely unacceptable. We rented the meeting room so our team of 14 year old boys could spend time together without bothering anyone, but hotel staff restricted how long they could be there and what they could do. They suggested the kids use the pool instead, which seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. The staff's behavior was ridiculous. Do not stay here. I'm contacting local organizations to suggest they add this hotel to their list of places not to stay.

The facility looks recently updated and feels very fresh inside. We had one room issue, but the responsive staff fixed it without any trouble. Service was quick and friendly, and the location is easy to get to.

Roomy, clean rooms, apparently renovated recently. The location is great for Chippewa Valley Airport out of Eau Claire WI. I also love using the digital key through the Hilton app.
