Staybridge Suites Hot Springs by IHG

The beautiful view will have us requesting a room facing it next time, and we would stay again. We visited family right before the holiday, and room 202 was spacious for our short stay. The pullout bed was rigged up awkwardly, and we struggled to get it open the first few times. The couch's chaise end was comfy, but smelled bad, as did the big fluffy green pillow, so we avoided both. Breakfast had a pretty good selection, but some items weren't replenished on the second morning. The options repeated on mornings one and three. With two kids, having breakfast included made the stay worthwhile, though I'd swap the scones for donuts or fruit Danish. The social snack was decent: waffle fries with queso and green onions. Jalapeños or bacon pieces would've made them even better, and the queso was delightful. The second evening they had cheese-stuffed franks in a blanket and spinach artichoke dip. We don't drink, but the social hour is a nice touch. I'll bring my own fresh spray, hair dryer, tissue box, and two extra blankets next time, since we only had one.

Keri and her team deserve five stars for making our group stay memorable. Seven couples came for a group outing in mid-October 2025, and this was easily our best experience so far. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with great service. We especially liked the generous breakfast, including a hot omelette, fresh juicy fruit, drinks, and plenty more. The complimentary beer and wine at Social Hour were unmatched. Our group liked it so much, we're planning to return.

We paid $300 for the one-bedroom suite and left exhausted after struggling to sleep on the hard, uncomfortable bed. The room was chilly until I turned the heat up, the floor had stains, and the bathroom sink ring was broken. The sectional had no back cushions, which made it uncomfortable too. The rooms badly need updating. We won't stay here again. For this price, find somewhere better, even if it costs more.

The general manager went out of her way to handle everything we needed on our first trip to Hot Springs. We loved sitting outside by the lake with the fire pit going, and breakfast was some of the best I've had at a hotel. It was my first time staying at a Staybridge, and I had a wonderful visit.
