Lakeside Inn Lake Havasu City

We had a peaceful stay and a direct view of the festival from our room. The person who checked us in was pleasant and helpful. The motel is older, but it’s been nicely upgraded. The paint, rugs, and beds all looked good, and the beds were comfortable. We’d booked for the Lake Havasu Balloon Festival. Thank you.

I stayed two nights and signed for a total of $224, but my statement showed a charge of $294. They didn’t give me a receipt. The room smelled like an old laundry basket, the refrigerator didn’t work, and the TV remote was unreliable even after its batteries were replaced. Security also seemed extremely poor, since the back door was always unlocked.

The room was absolutely disgusting, and the staff were very rude. I brought three people to a two-bed room, and they took my $150 deposit because I had one extra person. They also overcharged my debit card. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed, and I felt like they were scammers.

At 104 degrees, even riding my motorcycle around town was hot. I’d stopped to see London Bridge, then looked up cheap hotels nearby while sitting underneath it. Booking.com showed $52, so I rode over first to check the area. It looked good, and the nice woman at the desk agreed to match that price. I asked for a first-floor room so I could keep an eye on my bike, and she had one. The room was clean and nice once I turned on the AC. I’m very pleased.
