My stay was challenging at best. I asked for a ground-floor room when I booked because I’m handicapped and traveling with a service animal, but on arrival I was given a fourth-floor room and told none were available downstairs. If I’d known, I would have stayed elsewhere. The staff and location were nice, but the rooms need updating. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, the carpets need cleaning, and the balconies need power washing. The chair on my balcony was absolutely disgusting. The hot tub didn’t work during my three nights there. It sounded like people were living full-time in RVs by the pool, and late at night I could hear them arguing from my balcony. There was even a “now open” banner on the building. I assumed it was a new hotel, but that wasn’t true. The shower-tub faucet turned a full rotation, so it was hard to get the water temperature right, and it needs replacing. There’s just one residential washer and dryer for the whole hotel, on the fourth floor, and they take quarters. Someone left their laundry in the machine for almost 24 hours, keeping others from using it.

We booked a month ahead for a two-week stay over Christmas break to visit family. After checking in, we reached a room with a broken sink, ants on the table, and dirt on the counters and table. It hadn’t been cleaned. We pulled back the sheets to check the bed and found BLOOD on the mattress. We asked for another room, but it was just as dirty. When we lifted the sheets there, we found hair, and the mattress looked like a body had decomposed on it. We’d booked through booking.com and managed to cancel for only $50 and stay somewhere else. A few days later, I was charged the full $670 for the stay. I canceled on the 18th and still haven’t been refunded. Stay away from this place! Update, 17 January 2026: still no refund, and somehow there’s never a manager around to approve anything.

We looked at the room, saw how dirty it was, and turned right around and left. The online photos were very misleading and nowhere near the real condition. The sheets and curtains were stained, paint was peeling in the shower, and there was a large hole in the patio screens. The whole place needs serious updating and remodeling. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We booked on a whim, walked into the room, then turned around and left because we couldn’t stay there. I’ve never reviewed a place before, but this was by far the worst I’ve stepped into. It smelled awful and was filthy. The bed was missing part of its sheet set, the dresser and blinds were falling apart, the toilet lid wasn’t on, and lots of things were broken. I’d never recommend staying here, even for free.
