We came back to the Fargo Mansion 25 years after our wedding there and stayed in the E.J.Fargo room, the honeymoon suite. The mansion's architectural features are astounding, and it still has the same intimate feel. I highly recommend visiting.

Tom & Barry made us feel like family, and the breakfast was delicious. We spent one night here after a wedding and loved how cute, clean, and quiet our room was. The views, history, service, kindness, and prices were spectacular and unbeatable. It was our first bed & breakfast stay, and they made it memorable. We'd highly recommend staying here!

We could walk to town from the beautiful mansion, and our room was fantastic. Tom made us feel welcome and served incredible breakfasts. He even made a special trip to get coffee creamer for me because of an allergy. Thanks for such an amazing anniversary getaway!

The porch was such a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the area's peaceful quiet, and we were amazed by the beautiful house every time we walked through it. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and every detail seemed thought through. It's an easy walk to most places nearby, and the owner knew the area well and always had directions for us. Breakfast was delicious. I was lucky enough to leave with a recipe and a plate of leftovers. We highly recommend a stay and will definitely be back!

The visit ended with a hug from Tom, a goodbye, and a promise to see him soon. I already had my next reservation made as I drove away smiling. The stay itself was full of lovely details: sunlight through the lace curtains, a shower with perfect pressure and temperature, then breakfast in the glittering dining room at a table fit for royalty. The food was delicious, and I was sorry when the last bite and sip of cranberry juice were gone. Earlier, Tom Boycks welcomed us with a charming smile and genuine warmth. His tour of the breathtaking lower level came with stories about the mansion, then he showed us the five beautiful, thoughtfully designed guest rooms upstairs. Each had a luxurious marble bathroom, bathrobes, and toiletries. The furniture and decor made the rooms feel spacious, and ours had a lovely sitting area where I relaxed with classical music. My daughter was surprised to find me sitting quietly without even looking at my phone. We arrived to snow sparkling over the Fargo Mansion and grounds, and crossing the threshold turned my curiosity into delight. Tom recommended places for dinner since we didn't know Lake Mills, WI. That evening we snuggled under cozy bedding and watched our favorite shows on the room's flat screen. If you're looking for a life-changing place to visit, make a reservation at the Fargo Mansion in Lake Mills, WI. You'll be glad you did.
