Buddy's Harbor

We got home yesterday after four nights at Buddys, where several family members rented cabins. We’ve already booked for next year. The layout is great, and it’s conveniently located. Our front porches looked out over the lake and pool, with the Silo Bar just steps away. The Lounge was fun at night, and the trampoline got lots of use. The pool has a huge deck with comfy loungers. Everything was clean, and the beds and sheets were wonderful.

We ate subs, smash burgers, and wood-fired pizza at the Silo Bar, and all the food was excellent. The atmosphere was great, too. Staff and guests were friendly to us and our dog. There were several family reunions or gatherings while we were there. Our cabin was small but enough for us, clean, and close to the lake. The bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. We only used the coffee maker from the kitchen.

The evening view was beautiful, and the resort has everything you need. We went during the week in the off season, so the bar and pizza place were closed. If they’d been open, we wouldn’t have needed to leave. The beds were super comfortable, and the cabin had what we needed. We came with family for a “back to school” vacation and will definitely return.

This is one of our favorite spots, and we’ll be back every year. We’ve visited Buddys two years in a row. The staff were amazing and quick, the food was great, and the gas was cheap. We haven’t stayed there, but on our first visit we launched our boat and left the trailer, and the staff were very helpful. We also enjoyed the swimming, paddle board, kayak, trampoline, and water 3 wheeler. This year we had to come back to enjoy it all again!
