Quality Inn Lake of the Ozarks

Breakfast was the highlight, especially the make-your-own waffle station. Our room was nice, and the mini fridge came in handy. The king bed felt a bit too firm for me, though the pillows were wonderfully soft. There’s an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and an indoor hot tub, but both pools were cold and the hot tub could’ve been warmer. Still, it was a pleasant stay.

We were comfortable for the weekend, and actually returned Saturday night after deciding earlier that day to stay in the area. The room was clean and fine, the rate was reasonable, and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. It’s not the Marriott property we’d normally pick, but I’d recommend it to friends looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, and affordable. Breakfast was free and good.

The room kept us warm and dry, but that’s about all I can say for the stay. I wouldn’t book here myself after this experience, though I’d consider staying again if it were cheap. The smell in the room was musty and never improved. Housekeeping didn’t clean our bathroom: the dead cricket on the floor was still there three days later, and our coffee wasn’t replenished. Getting more than two towels in the room was impossible, and there were no towels at the pool. The hot tub worked on only one of the three days. They could really use some help learning how to maintain the place.

For what I paid, I’d give it five stars. It’s an older hotel, but my room was clean and the staff were really kind. There was a game room, an indoor pool, and a hot tub. I saw complaints about breakfast, but I can’t see why, there was a little bit of everything. Thanks for making my trip nice. I’ll be back!
