We stayed in one of the two-bedroom cabins, which also had a pullout couch, during a hiking trip with friends. There was tons of space for a reasonable price, with a kitchen and living room as well as the bedrooms. The room was clean and quiet, and close to the main areas of Lake Placid. After a very cold hike, the gas fireplace in the living area was great for warming up. There was a firepit on the property, but we didn’t spend any time there. Highly recommend for groups wanting plenty of room at a good price.

Waking up to the mountain view was incredible, and the cabin made a perfect weekend getaway. It was quiet, clean, pretty, and easy to reach, just a short drive from Lake Placid. The Adirondack decor and bunk beds felt right at home. Couldn't have asked for a better spot.

We had enough room for eight women on a 40th birthday overnight, and the rooms were lovely with a bit of a view. The location wasn't far from things, either. But the upstairs toilet was so loose it didn't feel safe, so we avoided that bathroom for the rest of our stay. There was also a mark on the downstairs bathroom ceiling, which I assume came from the toilet above.

Cobble mountain was such a cozy place to come back to after exploring town, and we couldn't have picked a better stay for our birthday trip. My fiancé and I celebrate our birthdays together every October, usually with a vacation, and this year we chose lake place. We're already looking forward to coming back to lake place and staying at cobble mountain again. Thanks for making our birthday so unforgettable 🫶🏼🙏🏼🤗😘🎉🎊🍾

I got in around the middle of the night on my way to New Hampshire, but the staff had my room ready and left a note in the office telling me to head in. They were helpful and kind again after checkout, calling to let me know I'd left personal items behind. It's a beautiful lodge in a stunning area, and I'd stay at Cobble Mountain Lodge again if I'm back near Lake Placid.
