Of all the places we stayed, Hampton Inn in Lake Placid gave us the best value and was our favorite hotel overall. We were three friends aiming for a $200-a-night budget, though some nights we had to go over it. The rooms were comfortable, the beds were great, and the bathroom was clean. We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Every staff member was warm and welcoming, the views were beautiful, and breakfast was satisfying. The lobby felt inviting as soon as we walked in. A truly wonderful stay.

We had a great family weekend in Lake Placid, with lovely accommodations and even better staff. I accidentally left behind an Irish Hanna Cap I’d bought in town. General manager Oziel called to let me know that housekeeping manager Gustavo had found it and would ship it to me promptly. Thanks to Oziel, Gustavo, and the whole staff. Don’t hesitate to book at the Hampton inn & suites at Lake Placid.

Our king suite was spacious, very clean, and well stocked, and we could easily walk to the Main Street area from this amazing location. The staff were friendly right from the start. Breakfast at Hampton Inns is always a highlight, and this one was clean, well stocked, and didn’t disappoint. Also, go to Origins Coffee!!

We stayed over New Year and really appreciated that the hotel welcomes pets. The staff were professional and kind throughout the holiday. Hampton Inn did a great job, and this is a place I’ll recommend and come back to.

This was a change from our usual Marriott bookings, but Oziel Garibay (Ozzy), the front desk manager, gave us hotel service well above what we’ve experienced elsewhere. Every other staff member we encountered was unfailingly polite too. We’ll definitely return.
