Anchorage Inn Lakeport

The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and checkout were easy. The room was fairly clean, with free WiFi, a TV, mini fridge, microwave, good water pressure, and working AC. Still, I wouldn’t come back. The place is run down, the shower floor felt soft in spots and smelled moldy, and it was noisy until around midnight. Fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, and the rooms felt cold and bare. With people yelling and swearing behind the inn and construction workers talking loudly on the balcony, it reminded me of the atmosphere at the juvenile jail I went to. The two inns next door didn’t look much better, to be fair. If you want a cheap, low-end motel 6 type of room, maybe this will suit you.

We loved the peaceful lakeside feel at Anchorage Inn Lakeport. The rooms are roomy, the views are breathtaking, and the BBQ area, pool, and personal boat deck are thoughtful extras. The two brothers who manage the place were so welcoming and gave top-notch service. Can't wait to return!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. They even gave me a small discount just to be nice. Great service.

We had to leave the car on the street because the motel lot had no parking. Inside, the mattresses were so old they had body-shaped dips, and the two-bed room only came with two sets of towels. There wasn’t a towel bar or toilet paper holder, and the shower curtain wasn’t hung right, so it couldn’t keep the water in. The stairs were sticky and filthy, including the handrail, so I couldn’t bring myself to use it. One of the worst stays I’ve had.
