Peaceful Bay Resort, Lakeside

The location is killer, with lake views, an awesome deck, and a great hot tub. The husband was cool, but the female manager was rude. When we asked for a late checkout, she yelled at us. She could use some customer service education. The place felt more like a 1970s fourplex than a resort, and the interior was like a 70s or 80s house. Everything in the units is old. With five or six people, having just one full bath and shower is a hassle. The master has only a half bath, and its toilet has a grinder pump that’s loud and smells. We had to keep that door shut all week because of the funky odor. There were no fishing poles. They left five towels and didn’t bring fresh ones all week, plus only three trash bags and one paper towel. I would have expected those supplies to be replenished, but they weren’t.

The rental was clean, with a balcony overlooking the bay, and management was very responsive. Gorgeous place. I’ll definitely bring my family back for another vacation.

Coming from Phoenix AZ, I really needed a break from the heat, and this peaceful place was just what I needed. The weather was perfect all week, and the view when I woke up was amazing. I looked forward to the sunrise every morning. The lake was surprisingly clear, and the pool and spa were always clean. Renting a Jet-Ski in town is highly recommended. You get way more than you pay for here, and I can’t recommend it enough. I’m planning a trip this winter. I brought my drone, and the photos were taken by me.

We’ve stayed at Peaceful Bay Resort twice, and the price for being right on the water can’t be beat. In our second floor condo, we woke up to a beautiful view through the large master bedroom window. The living room deck was a great spot for coffee, and grills and other amenities were available. We even did a cold plunge in the lake when we visited in March. It’s peaceful and perfectly located, close to restaurants and Kalispell if you want to head into town. We’ll definitely be back.
