Interstate 8 Motel

This motel was filthy. Every sheet was stained, the shower curtain had mold and mildew, and there was soap scum and mold in the shower. We also found spiders in the bathroom. The TV didn’t work, and there was no internet connection for watching shows. There’s no way this room was worth $100.

I’m not fussy, but this place wasn’t clean. Both bins still had trash from the previous visitors, and the sheets had plenty of stains, even if they’d probably been washed. There was a dirty, wadded-up towel on the bathroom floor in the corner, and the bathroom itself was dirty. We were the only guests there that night. The AC was cold and the TV worked, but I won’t stay again. I’d rather sleep in my pickup.

The sheets were itchy, and we could hear the upstairs neighbors making a lot of noise. The floors looked clean until we walked on them. We used a few bathroom towels to wipe the area around the beds, and they came back black. The bathroom was awful. It looked like it had flooded before and been repaired badly. The tiles were swollen, the door wouldn’t shut properly, and there was either feces or blood behind the toilet, plus snot on the wall by the light switch. Terrible place to stay.

There were a ton of spiders, no clean towels, and they charged us extra. The deadbolt latch had broken off, too. The woman at the desk was nice, but the rest of the night felt sketchy.
