Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Minneapolis - Lakeville by IHG

We’ve been coming to the Lakeville Holiday Inn for years, and our kids always have so much fun here. On our latest stay, Felicia was working around the pool and atrium, and she was such a gem. There were tons of people, but she worked incredibly hard and made sure we felt comfortable. We were impressed that there were still towels and the garbage wasn’t overflowing. Most hotels would have run out of towels and had overflowing bins with that many guests.

Felicia was the highlight of the night. She’s incredible, understanding, and has integrity. She really wants you to have the best experience. The pool room was neat, and even from the balcony there wasn’t the noise I expected, like kids kicking and screaming. The rooms were wonderfully clean and the beds comfortable. Loved Felicia, loved the stay. Great spot.

We had an amazing time here. Felicia in the pool area was so kind and fun with the kids, families, and friends, and made us feel welcome. Thanks for all the hard work keeping the pool at the Lakeville Holiday Inn stocked with towels. Your smile and attitude were amazing. ❤️

I was impressed by how the rooms surround the pool, with easy access and parking close by. The poolside rooms are classy, and the pavilion area with vending is a charming place to sit together. The pool is decent and has a slide, plus the hot tub is spacious with powerful jets. Check-in was easy, the guys at the desk were polite and helpful, and the rooms were clean and accommodating. It’s one of the better basic 3-star hotels we’ve stayed at. I chose this place specifically for the slide, but it only ran when an attendant was present. My kids only got one turn, which was a bummer. The slide operator seemed annoyed about running it, and kept talking to us and micromanaging every step in the pool area, which was a turn-off. Be aware that the slide empties into shallow water, so you hit the bottom fast and hard. The front desk was lovely; the only downsides were the cleaning lady and the slide operation. She seemed annoyed to stop cleaning to run the slide, even though that was the whole reason we stayed.
