Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lancaster Palmdale

The hotel was clean and modern, with nice beds and bathrooms. Breakfast at the buffet bar had plenty of choices and was decent. The towels weren't the best.

We spent seven days at the Fairfield Inn in December 2025, and our room wasn't cleaned once. When I finally asked the front desk when it would be cleaned, he said it wouldn't happen for another two days. They handed us an armful of towels, toilet paper, and a trash bag for the used towels, which we were told to leave in the hallway. We also had to empty our own trash cans. We travel a lot, and this was the worst treatment we've had.

The hotel is newly built, and everything felt clean and brand new. As a clean freak, I especially noticed the spotless, gleaming bathroom and the roomy shower, which was clean everywhere. It's in a more secluded area, but I'd recommend it. One of the best hotels I've stayed at in America.

Parking was easy, which I appreciated while traveling with family, and the bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom looked modern, spotless, and relaxing. The shower was great, and I liked having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from Alice Co. Botanicals. The lavender scent felt luxurious, though I personally prefer lemongrass. Breakfast was a solid four stars for me. The scrambled eggs were surprisingly good, the chocolate muffin was a nice treat, and the coffee was pretty decent. The indoor pool was the letdown: it wasn't filthy, but it wasn't as clean or warm as I expected. I prefer warmer pools, so I'd give it 2.5 stars. Not awful, just not great. I had a pleasant stay and would come back. The clean, comfortable room, satisfying breakfast, and small touches like the botanical bath products made for a good visit. The pool didn't meet my expectations, but it wasn't enough to spoil the experience. I'd recommend it to someone looking for a clean, well-kept, affordable stay.
