The lodge gave our group plenty of room to cook and eat together, and the cabins felt comfortable and welcoming for our guests. We rented the whole resort for our wedding this fall, and the weekend turned out to be incredibly special. The lake was calm and beautiful, a lovely setting for celebrating. The property was well cared for and conveniently located while still feeling private. It was just right for sharing such an important occasion with the people closest to us.

Kathy was so kind and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. We loved staying at Deerwood Resort and plan to come back next summer. Chickadee had spectacular views of the lake, and the location made it easy to visit Land O'Lakes, such a cute town, with a few supper clubs nearby.

After staying here in 2024, we asked the property managers if we could hold our intimate wedding at Deerwood. Renting all the cabins meant our family and friends could share a perfect weekend up north with us. Kathy, Nick, Steve, and Randi were wonderful, attentive hosts, and you can tell they take real pride in the property. The grounds and waterfront are well maintained, and there are activities for all ages. Our cabin was charming, cozy, spotless, and beautiful. It’s a lovely getaway for couples, families, or friends, and we’ll be eager to head back to Land O’ Lakes.

All 35 of us, from the one-year-old to the 65-year-old, enjoyed every minute of our family vacation. Nick and Kathy were amazing hosts and made sure we had what we needed, while the owners provided a wonderful property. It’s hard to put into words how great the trip was for everyone. We’d give our experience at Deerwood Resort a big 10. Thank you so much, and we look forward to returning in 2026.

The weather wasn’t great for a couple of days, so we spent some rainy time in the game room. The girls also had fun fishing from the dock and playing on the beach. We had a wonderful stay in the Chickadee cabin with our four granddaughters. Kathy and Nick answered all our questions and were very helpful. We hope to bring the girls back, and we highly recommend Deerwood Resort 😊
