I’ve stayed here several times and have always had a good experience. The staff are considerate and friendly, and check-in is quick. Rooms are clean and a typical size, a bit dated but well cared for. The mattress is firmer than I prefer, though I still slept well, and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. I haven’t tried breakfast, so can’t comment on it. I’ll be back.

The room was gross: it smelled like a moldy public restroom, the bed was rock hard, and the tiny bathroom had hairs in the tub and poop stains on the toilet. I didn’t even want to shower there. The so-called continental breakfast was a couple of processed muffins, cheap yogurt, and weak black coffee. Staff were rude and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in. This felt like a roadside motel, not a hotel. We were only there for one night on the road, thankfully. I can’t understand the good reviews, and I’d tell people not to book it.

The creek outside our window ran over smooth river rocks, which made the setting really peaceful. Our room was spacious and very clean, with rustic wood furniture that fit the surrounding wilderness. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows.

We stopped here for one night while road-tripping through the area. The lodge looks great, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. I’d happily recommend it for a stay in Lander.

I spent four nights at the Pronghorn and would stay again. My room was clean and well appointed, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that they made the visit enjoyable. It’s also close to Main Street.
