I called the Lighthouse Inn Motel on 11/23/2014 because I was in town to see my little girl and wanted a room for the week. I travel all over for personal reasons and for work in the timeshare industry, and I’ve never been treated this badly. They quoted $50.00 plus tax, said there was no weekly rate, wouldn’t let me see a room, and said I couldn’t cancel if I found it unacceptable. I’d already called LaQuinta, just five minutes away, and their weekly rate was cheaper. They also had a pool and one of the best hot tubs I’ve enjoyed. When I called the Lighthouse Inn again this morning to speak to a manager, I got more rudeness. At the staff member’s request, I’m leaving this review to warn others. There are other places in town. Take your hard-earned money somewhere that appreciates you, and where you and your loved one feel safe.

I’d recommend it. The price is good, the place is clean, and management is friendly. Renovations are coming along nicely. The manager said last weekend that they expect new furniture, beds, and flat-screen TVs soon, and that the property would soon be called Travel Inn & Suites.

It used to be the lighthouse Inn motel, but it’s now Travel Inn &Suite hotel. I’m John, and I worked there for five years, handling maintenance service and security watch every day and night.

I’m a trucker and broke down in town. The manager was really friendly and helped me however he could. The rooms were clean, and help was available 24 hours. I’ll stay here any time I’m in town.
