I really liked the little comforts in our room, especially the makeup towel, hot pad for food, and electric fireplace. The bedpost blocks part of the TV, so an adjustable wall mount might help. The room was otherwise perfect and very clean. There’s a slight musty smell, which seems understandable in an older house, and they have dehumidifiers running to help. You can see how much effort the new owners, Carrie, have put into the place, right down to the details. The garden and outdoor seating look great, and I loved watching the hummingbirds.

My sister and I spent the weekend here and enjoyed the whole stay. The rooms were extremely clean, the beds really comfortable, and the outdoor seating was lovely. It’s a cute, cozy inn close to downtown, and the owners make the place. I’d highly recommend it.

This is my go-to whenever I’m traveling to or through Lanesboro. I’ve stayed three times now, and I feel at home here. Rich and Carrie are gracious hosts who really care about their guests. The rooms are nice and clean, and the patios are relaxing and well kept. Thanks, Rich and Carrie, for making every visit so wonderful.

The gardens have clearly had a lot of loving work put into them over the years, and we enjoy sitting outside to read or chat with our travel companions and other guests. We’ve chosen Coffee Street Inn several times and have stayed in different rooms, all of which we liked. The upgrades since the new owners took over have been especially nice. It’s a couple of blocks from the main drag, so it’s quieter while still close to local attractions.

We come back to Coffee Street Inn several times a year and have tried a number of rooms, including the suite with a kitchen and a very comfortable Murphy bed. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and we love relaxing among the flowers on the patio. The owners are gracious and helpful, and they’re always making improvements to the inn. I look forward to each visit. I also love Lanesboro itself, with its scenery, historic little shops within walking distance, and easy access to the bike trail and kayaking or canoeing.
