Staybridge Suites Washington D.C.- Greenbelt by IHG

The area was quiet and gave me great access to the Capitol Beltway. I spent three weeks here for work, and this extended stay hotel was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, breakfast each morning was hearty with something for everyone, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

We had plenty of room in the suite with two queen beds and a pullout sofa, and parking was included, which helped. It felt like a little apartment with a full kitchen, though I wasn't planning to cook. The staff were attentive, replacing anything we needed right away. My kids and I stayed at Staybridge from Mon 12/29-Fri 1/2 and really enjoyed it. Check-in was easy, snacks were available in the lounge pretty much every day, and the included breakfast was a decent standard hot buffet. The hotel is modern and well placed for DC and other major points in MD. I've stayed at several IHG hotels, and this one is near the top of my list. I'd definitely recommend Staybridge if you're in the MD/DC area.

I love this hotel and its location works perfectly for my job. The problem is how slowly they return deposits. I've had to call four times about pending deposits that should have been returned weeks or months earlier. I just called about one from October, and it's now the end of December. Customers shouldn't have to chase incidental deposits when nothing was wrong. Waiting months for that money back isn't right. I'm writing in the hope the hotel changes this and stops letting it happen.

The free laundry is a big plus for a long stay, and the delicious complimentary breakfast has plenty of variety. The rooms feel like modern apartments, the location is excellent, and the cleaning was great. Roberto cleaned my room and was so nice and thorough about making sure I had everything I needed. He's also kind and always greets people in the hallways. I think he's the manager. I highly recommend this place. Worth every penny!
