Sleep Inn near I-80 and I-94

Weird to see this place surrounded by really nice, large homes. The staff only got three stars from me because of one thing they handled well: I booked the wrong bed sizes, and they gladly accommodated my sister at check-in. I was there for nine hours, while she stayed two days. The refrigerator was leaking and had ice, and they were stingy when we asked for clean towels. The hallway on my floor smelled strongly of Sunday dinner and marijuana. There was visible mold near the window, the bathroom light flickered like a scene from a scary movie, and the hallway carpet should have been replaced ten years ago. Best description I can give the place is a trap house. It needs a complete facelift.

The hotel was quiet and the rooms were clean. Several restaurants are just a 1-2 block walk away.

In the middle of the night, all I could hear was kids screaming and banging on doors. The bathroom was extremely cramped, and the room was only okay: peeling walls, an uncleaned floor that felt sticky. On the fourth floor, the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned or replaced since the hotel was built. The elevator and fourth floor reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. The front desk agent was friendly, but this isn't a hotel I'd pay more than $75 a night for.

The lobby was clean, but the hallway carpets were nasty, and breakfast was laughable. If you need somewhere cheap, I guess this is it, but I'd avoid it if you can. Probably one of the worst stays I've had.
