I spoke with Joseph about a billing error, and he resolved it in a reasonable amount of time. He was professional and extremely courteous. Even if the outcome hadn’t gone my way, I would have felt the same about his service.

After I complained to Guest Services about a dirty bathroom and microwave and pubic hair on the bed linen, LaTonya told me I hadn’t followed protocol. She said, “look girl,” and disconnected the call. The front desk manager, LaTonya Nobel, had an extremely nasty attitude and seemed very unprofessional for a manager. Later, Joshua from the front desk came to my door and told me to leave immediately. I said I’d pack, but when I asked why I was being made to leave, he didn’t answer. It felt like retaliation for speaking up about the room. I absolutely don’t recommend this budget-friendly hotel, and I’m considering filing other complaints over how LaTonya treated me.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with comfortable beds. We all had a pleasant night’s sleep. :)

The front desk told me my reservation was a no-show when I arrived at 9 a.m., even though my check-in was scheduled for 3 p.m. It made no sense. The manager insisted the booking was for the previous day and argued with me. He used a lot of big words but showed no compassion, even if I was the one mistaken. I’ve been coming for two years, so I know my reservation and the policy. I’m sure he pocketed $200. With all that’s happening in the world, there are still heartless people price gouging. Be careful here. If this kind of theft is going on, who knows what happens in your room while you’re away. Holiday Inn Express, this is poor hospitality and customer service.
