Budget Inn

The outside could use an update, and the location is on the industrial side of the interstate, but it's excellent value for money. They've done a big renovation inside, and the rooms are newly redone and clean. Larry at the front desk is kind, attentive, and works hard to keep the place clean. The bathroom was clean too, and the shower had hot water with great pressure.

Filthy. These are just a few pictures of the bugs and whatever else we found on the pillow and sheets. They hadn't even changed the toilet paper roll. We didn't stay long enough to take any more photos.

I haven't personally stayed at this address in a couple of decades. Today, though, my client was staying there and needed to attend a court hearing by video, but her phone wasn't working. The hotel manager, Baylei, came to the rescue and let her use her phone so she could appear before the judge. That was an extraordinary kindness and helped keep my client on the judge's good side. Thank you, Baylei!

BEWARE. We packed up and left at 11 at night after finding our room had been rummaged through and items were missing. On checking the door, we found it was broken and wouldn't latch or lock properly. A hard shove was enough to pop it open. We felt violated by the intrusion and stolen property, and unsafe with people lingering around the parking lot. The room was filthy anyway, and the beds smelled of urine. At the desk, they refused to refund the night we'd stayed or the nights still booked. We just wanted our money back and to leave. The man there blamed us for not inspecting the door closely enough at check-in, which is absurd. No one offered another room or any other remedy. They said they'd leave manager Baylee a note to consider a refund, and I'll update if she makes it right. The whole thing felt sketchy. Travel safe and comfortably, and choose somewhere else.
