I’ve been here about three months. At first I wrote a glowing review because the front desk asked me to, but after dealing with inconsistent service and rudeness, I’m reporting the hotel to the Better Business Bureau. I stay here for work and pay weekly, Saturday to Saturday. They refunded my most recent payment without telling me or giving a reason. I only found out when my key card stopped working and I went to the desk. They’d refunded the payment I made the day before, but because I used a debit card, it took longer to show up in my account. Being locked out after arriving from out of town for work was a shock. After I paid for another week on Saturday afternoon, I traveled for work that weekend and found my debit card overdrawn. The hotel had charged it without telling me or getting permission or authorization. At first they said they couldn’t see the charge on my room. I rushed back to town and went straight to the desk. They searched my card number and found they’d mistakenly charged me for another room. Their error caused bank overdraft fees. The desk worker seemed annoyed about refunding the mistaken charge, and it took two more business days to post. The woman at the desk offered a free night for the trouble. I understood that to mean Saturday night, since I pay Saturday to Saturday. I was out of town for work again on Saturday. When I returned this morning and went straight to the desk to pay for the week, the same woman said my payment was late and I had to check out within 30 minutes. No one had called, texted, or emailed me. She said she’d left a note at the desk, but I was away and never received the message. I thought my free night covered Saturday, but she said their weekly rate covers six nights, not seven. That makes me wonder whether they owe me a refund for every Saturday night. Stay away. I’ve seen residents repeatedly call the police over poor customer service, and it smells like marijuana ALL THE TIME!
I stayed for a few months and was very happy. Miss Mi’lisa and her staff do a great job and clearly care about both guests and the property. The place is older, but it feels safe, clean, and comfortable. My room didn’t feel cramped for a long-term stay, and the price felt like good value.
The floors were filthy, and the place felt unhealthy. I also found the staff rude, aside from one evening employee whose smile always cheered me up. I paid about $1,500 a month, with my dad paying, and still felt I was treated terribly. They made me and my two-month-old kitten leave with very little notice and nowhere to go. I was sick and hadn't yet told them I'd just gotten the kitten, though I had a doctor's note for an emotional support kitten. For a place that calls itself pet friendly, they weren't very welcoming. I suspect they take people's money and then make them leave so they can keep the refund and charge someone new. I also wonder if they work with the police, since officers stayed in the parking lot all night. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and I'm probably going to report it to the health department.
I've stayed here off and on for years to be near my job, and compared with the other places I've tried, this has been a great and safer option for me. I've never had a bad experience with the staff. I'm here now until I can move into my permanent home. Ms Mi Lisa has been positive and great the whole time, as far as I know. I definitely recommend this location. Plus, you're within walking distance of great...
The location near the interstate is a plus, but the service is very ghetto. The hallways always smell like weed and Black&mild. Laundry costs four dollars to wash and four dollars to dry, and the machines are tiny. Staff aren't even at the front desk about half the time. I stayed for over a month and a half without getting a single courtesy room cleaning. Then, out of nowhere, they decided to clean my room. I'm a cigarette smoker, but I smoke outside and carry my ashtray instead of flicking anything onto the parking lot. I emptied it into the trash, and since I have a one-year-old, I put the bag under the bathroom sink. One small ash fell on the floor, and they assumed I'd smoked inside and told me to leave, even though I'd just paid on 11/13/25. The staff member said the woman next door had reported me. That woman said she hadn't told her that, or said the smoke was coming from my room. All I did was go to work, come back, and sleep. My kids went to school and daycare.
