Breakfast was a real highlight the next morning. Our host, who was also the chef, made an excellent meal and had several juices to choose from, plus great coffee. We were in the area for a couple of days, including kayaking at Lake Wawayanda, and stayed at this B&B. Check-in was at the small desk just inside, with the owner greeting us. Our room was upstairs in the main house, not the little building out back. The old staircase is steep and the steps are narrow, just something to be aware of. There wasn't air conditioning, only a floor fan. The room felt a bit stuffy, so we opened a window, which let in some road noise. The bathroom was clean, though the shower wasn't very enjoyable. Its barely adjustable head points straight at your head, with no way to angle it away. Even so, the stay was part of an enjoyable couple of days in the area.

The homemade breakfast was a favorite part of our stay. It was all freshly made, and you could taste the care in every dish. The place was cozy, full of character, and beautifully maintained. Anil, the owner, made us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. It was a warm, relaxing getaway, and we had a wonderful time.

My dad really liked staying here when he came to visit. He enjoyed the lovely room and the breakfast, and said the service was excellent. I called recently to get help with rooms and got the best service. The man who runs the place was so polite. I'll always suggest that family stay here when they come to town.

Anil made our mini-moon stay feel special from the start. We had booked a room with two beds by mistake, and he switched us to another one at no extra charge. We arrived a little late, and his restaurant recommendation turned out to be excellent. The breakfast the next morning was elegant and tasty, with the same attention to detail he showed throughout our stay. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into the place. It was one of the best stays we've had, and we wish him all the best. I'd book here if you want to avoid an overpriced nearby hotel where the amenities don't work.

The Violet Suite was beautiful, and breakfast was amazing. We also had such a pretty view from the window. Anil was so, so nice. I'd definitely come back.
