Econo Lodge

The evening employee on 8-6-24 was polite, professional, and quick, and went out of his way to give me the best service. He's a great employee and deserves recognition. It's the best customer service I've had in a VERY long time. The hotel has its quirks, but the room was clean, with a warm shower and a place to sleep.

There was no guest assistance from 10pm until morning, and the blankets in our non-smoking room had burn holes. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. They advertise a pool and free breakfast, but neither was available. I won't stay here again.

The homemade-looking quilts were a lovely touch, and the hotel was quiet and clean. My bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. I'll definitely stay there again.

The room was a pleasant surprise after a strange check-in. It smelled nice, the bed was comfortable enough, I liked the wood floors and wall paneling, and almost everything worked. There's no coffee maker in the room or coffee in the lobby, so I had to get some at the nearby convenience store. The price was right, and I'd recommend this place to other drivers and probably come back when I pass through. Hopefully they'll have coffee by then. 🤠 At first, the contactless check-in felt a little creepy to me. The lobby was silent, the pool area looked like it hadn't been maintained in a while, and I had to call a number while someone at a different location watched me on camera and talked me through the steps. The man on the phone was pleasant, but the process left me thinking about being watched, which isn't a feeling I want in a hotel room.
