Residence Inn by Marriott Laredo Del Mar

The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. I stayed December 27 to December 30 while visiting my son. Great place, and I'll definitely come back. Thank you!

The staff were so friendly and personable, and I never felt like just another number. This location was near my job site, a future restaurant at the mall. My room had a kitchen with utensils, pans, plates, and bowls, plus a working microwave, fridge, and electric stovetop. Hot water was always available. I crossed the interstate to Walmart to buy food I could cook or heat there. Before I had a chance to shop on my first day, I ate at Golden Corral around the corner. It had great ratings, cost about $15, and had live music. Hotels in town were a bit expensive because of a weekend concert, but this place fit my company's budget and had good reviews. No regrets!

The bugs were the main downside of my stay. I saw several, including a roach in the bathroom one morning, a small bug on the nightstand, and another on the kitchen counter. They showed up often enough to be concerning and took away from the otherwise good experience. The Residence Inn by Marriott in Laredo, TX, has a quiet, convenient location with easy access to many of Laredo’s main attractions, and it was easy to relax and work without noise. The housekeeping was excellent, especially Nidia, who made sure my dishes were washed and the bathroom stayed spotless and fresh-smelling every day. If management deals with the pest issue, this could easily be one of the best places to stay in Laredo. For now, it's a place with great service, excellent housekeeping, and a prime location that needs some improvements.

I loved the daily fresh cookies at the front desk. They were a sweet welcome to come back to after using the pool, outdoor grills, or well-equipped gym. The property was clean, well-lit, and felt very safe, with a great location close to retail stores and an H-E-B for groceries. Breakfast, served from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM, was delicious and had plenty of choices. It was nice seeing other guests enjoying it too. The room was immaculate, stocked with plenty of towels and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper. The in-room kitchen had everything I needed, including a microwave, stovetop, and coffee maker. The whole facility was spotless and always smelled fresh. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating from check-in, and when I needed to extend by a night, they made it easy. I've been a Residence Inn member for a long time and stayed at many locations, but this one quickly became a favorite. It was an incredibly pleasant, comfortable, home-away-from-home stay. I highly recommend it to visitors to Laredo. I've found my go-to spot here and can't wait to return.
