Larned Inn & Suites

For $118 a night, I expected more than a bare room with a rock-hard bed, flat old dollar-store pillows, and heat that blasted with no real way to control it. It was 40 degrees outside, not minus 40, but after switching it to AC and leaving the door open for 30 minutes, the room was still 70. I ended up sleeping without sheets or blankets because it was too hot. I know the place is 20 miles away, but seriously, go somewhere else. Those are wannabe Hilton or Holiday Inn prices for this room, and it's absolutely not worth it. I travel all over the country, and this kind of price gouging should be illegal. If I'm back in town, I'll sleep in my car. Lower the price or upgrade the rooms to match what you charge. I won't read an owner reply or change my review.
