The staff were consistently helpful and friendly, and breakfast was decent, with pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and baked goods. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean, though there were bits of drywall on the bed. The AC, microwave, and mini fridge all worked. The renovation made the place messy, and the bathroom badly needed work. The tub was discolored all over, the fixtures rusty, the caulking moldy, and the room smelled old and musty. Our room was supposedly upgraded, but I couldn't tell. The blinds need replacing, and rooms along the road face the train tracks. It sounded like the train was right beside us, passing two or three times a night and making sleep difficult. There were no water refill stations and only a few small bottles at breakfast. I wouldn't bring my family back unless the remodel delivers some much-needed upgrades.

I expected more from Holiday Inn Express, but this stay was a disgrace. The hotel is in the middle of a major remodel, with floors torn up and paint buckets and tools scattered around. The room carpet was disgusting, and the pool and fitness center were closed. None of the ice machines worked either. I had paid in full before arriving, yet check-in took more than ten minutes while the desk attendant called a manager to ask which card to charge for the $25 incidental fee. At over $150 a night, they should have closed the hotel during this work instead of taking paying guests.

In December 2025 the hotel was in the middle of a huge renovation. Our room was okay, but hadn't been updated yet. There was drywall dust everywhere, our room number was lying on the floor, and the hallways smelled of fresh paint. It should be really nice once the work is finished.

We've stayed here before and plan to come back. It's right along I-10, with a clean room and facility, a Tex-Mex restaurant next door, and plenty of space for the dogs to do their business. A good stay with the animals. Dicks

The renovation work starts at 7 a.m., and the facility is under construction. I booked online because the room photo showed a large in-room jacuzzi and wanted a pampering evening, but the tub wasn't there. They remodeled a year ago. That's unacceptable.
