La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Las Cruces Mesilla Valley

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and nicely prepared. The new management and staff have made a positive difference: things feel more organized, welcoming, and well maintained. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I had a great stay at La Quinta and will be back.

We’ve stayed here several times because we have family nearby, and the hotel’s quality has been slipping for years. On our last visit, the sheets and duvet cover had black stains and burn marks all over them. They changed our room without much trouble. I also noticed bedbug spray behind the front desk. I know it’s a cheap hotel, but there’s a point where it feels like a health hazard.

The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is dated, though, even if the price was low. I expected more from the Wyndham name. Our bathroom had three bath mats but no towels or washcloths, and there was hair in the freezer, so we didn’t use the fridge. There were bleach stains around the property, which I suppose is necessary at a cheap motel with fentanyl around, but they were noticeable. A Sprite came out of the vending machine when I chose water, even though Sprite wasn’t listed. We had to get our key reprogrammed multiple times during our two-night stay. Wi-Fi only worked downstairs in the lobby. Thanks for the stay.

The rooms are huge and cheap, the staff are great, breakfast is free, and they love pets. I’ve been staying in hotels for over 10 years, and this is one of the best I’ve found. 10/10, I’d recommend it to anyone in the area. You won’t be disappointed.
