The friendly front desk staff were a plus, but the room felt more like a jail cell with a bigger bed. I expected less than other places, just not this. There was what I hope was dog feces on the walkway by my room, stained bedding, and poor lighting. The smoke detector dangled on wires above the bed. When I plugged my charger into the lamp, the light went out, then came back on later. That was concerning. The AC needed about two hours to cool the room, and it was so loud I’d have had to bother the next room to hear the TV. A back stair to the second floor was caving in and felt unsafe, my lock tab was broken and barely attached, and the tap water came out dark brown at first. People on the balcony didn’t seem friendly, and all the exit signs were smashed. The sheets and blanket were so heavily stained I slept on top of them.

I pulled up the mattress and found roaches and bed bugs gathered underneath. Bed bugs can cling to clothes and belongings, then spread through your home after you leave. This place used to have roaches and spiders, but now it has bed bugs too. Do not stay in these rooms!

When I decided to leave, they wouldn't let me back into my room to collect my pets and belongings, so I had to call the police for help. The rooms were dirty, full of cockroaches, and the sheets and towels were stained and dingy. Management and staff were bullies. They preferred that I pay the cheaper third party rate instead of paying them the same amount directly, and they gave me a hard time about my pets even after I showed proof that they were emotional support animals.

I couldn't bring myself to undress, so I slept in my clothes. The sheets had big yellow stains and smear marks, the smoke alarm was disconnected, and there was no light above the mirror. I knew it was only a two star hotel, but I didn't expect to share the room with a family of cockroaches. At checkout, the woman didn't apologize. She said they spray for roaches every 3 to 4 days, which I don't believe. I told her I wouldn't be back.
