Being across from the convention center is handy if you’re attending something there, and the hotel is close enough to the Strip and Sphere to walk, if you’re up for as much as a mile. There’s also a monorail station right below it. The group rate made it affordable, and there’s no resort fee or on-site gambling, so there wasn’t a smoky smell. We arrived several hours before the 3 p.m. check-in time, I believe, and they let us into two of our three rooms early. That was a huge help since we needed a nap before our scheduled events after the drive. Checkout is at noon, later than at many places. We had an early event and planned to return around 9:30, rest, pack, and leave just before noon. But staff were already cleaning our room while our things were still in it. They left when we said we weren’t ready, but came back twice more. The same happened with the other two rooms in our group, so we took the hint and left early. I guess that’s a fair trade for the early access. The room and bathroom were clean. Parking costs extra. There’s a small cafe with a limited Starbucks menu and food, and people in our party said the food was good and portions decent. It was never open when I tried to get coffee or food. There’s also a little shop for basic things. We could hear the next door neighbor pretty clearly, though I imagine that’s common.
The front desk staff were welcoming and polite, and the location is perfect. It’s definitely one of the better hotels in Vegas. They’ll let you check in early if a room is available, and there’s a restaurant and bar in the lobby. The room looked and smelled clean, though the hallway had a strange odor that may have come from the rugs. Not sure if that happens often. I’d give it an 8.8/10 and would come back.
I was exhausted after traveling alone when my delayed flight led to an airline hotel voucher, only for us to find the hotel fully booked. They sent us next door to the Courtyard, which had rooms but couldn’t take the voucher. The whole situation felt stressful and scary at first, especially as a young woman on my own. Jorge stepped in and worked it out so the airline would pay for my room instead of me. He kept handling it even while I was asleep. In the morning, he arranged a taxi and brought me coffee without me asking. Because of his kindness, I felt safe and looked after, and could sleep without worrying. I’ll always be grateful to him.
We spent a week here in October for a trade show, and getting to the Convention Center was easy. The location was perfect, with the Monorail within walking distance. We used it several times to go down to the Vegas strip, and it felt very easy and safe. Taxis from the hotel were available if needed. Uber gave us trouble at first, but yellow taxis arrived within minutes and were actually cheaper. The front desk staff were super friendly, and the food at their Bistro was great. Thank you, Courtyard By Marriott, for a smooth, lovely stay.
I have contact dermatitis from methylisothiazolinone, and none of their products contain it. That made my stay wonderful. The hotel is right by the monorail, too. I’ll be back and highly recommend it.
