Historic Plaza Hotel

The restaurant staff were kind too, and the attached restaurant has affordable, delicious food. I had the French toast, and there's a cafe as well. There's no complimentary breakfast, and the room has no fridge or microwave. When the AC first kicks on it's loud, though it quiets after a few seconds and startled me at first. The shower pipes whine the whole time. Those seem to come with an old building, but the room gets cold and stays that way, and the water gets hot. I loved this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and unlike ordinary hotel rooms, with vintage furniture and decor alongside up-to-date appliances, including the tub and sink. The towels were very soft, and the linens smelled truly fresh. I also liked the heavy quilts instead of a comforter. We were on the third floor, and the windows were my favorite part of the room, along with my kitties. It's incredibly pet-friendly, with a refundable $10 pet fee. The staff were very kind. I really have nothing bad to say, and I'd book here again if I'm in the area.

The real keys instead of magnetic cards and the incredible staff added to the old-world feel. The hotel is decorated beautifully and feels like somewhere from another era. Absolutely breathtaking. If you want a beautiful place to spend the night, check it out.

The room felt special, with ceilings at least 20 feet high and a bookcase full of an interesting mix of books. Only the bathroom felt truly modern, and it was done so well that the room kept its age and dignity. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. This is a great historic hotel on the plaza in Las Vegas. Each room has a celebrity story tied to Las Vegas history or the hotel itself. I'd stay again, 10/10.

The rooms are lovely, with their Victorian architecture still intact. This is a one-of-a-kind place that pairs modern amenities with the character of the 1880s Southwest. Its past spans the Wild West era and the important people and celebrities who stayed here. There's a restaurant and bar, and plenty of places to explore within easy walking distance.
