Palace Station Hotel and Casino

I keep bringing my family and guests here, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Beatrice Duran is a wonderful host who makes us feel welcome, accommodates our needs, and helps everything go smoothly. Michael (High Limit) and Brook (Blackjack) are our favorite dealers. They keep things entertaining while we play. On our last visit, Veronica and Grace (Pit Bosses) were also kind and attentive. The hospitality has been a real pleasure and feels like the best of Las Vegas.

It’s easy to enjoy this place without dealing with the Strip, and the casino floor is clean. The staff and other guests are friendly, and they regularly offer me free rooms. They’ve got most of the video poker machines I like, though I wish there were more bartop machines. Some food choices still cost a bit more than at other local casinos, but I like the comfort, convenience, and value overall.

We had a blast at Palace Station and plan to return, especially now that we’re cardholders and members. The casino was clean and didn’t smell like cigarettes, and the cocktail waitresses were quick and kind. We stayed from 12/31 to January 3, and the staff throughout the property were friendly, from the front desk and security to housekeeping. The parking garage was well lit, with security regularly patrolling it. At Brass Fork and the oyster bar we had a great time, and Hillary and the New Year’s Eve staff were kind and fast. The bed was so comfortable that my girlfriend and I didn’t want to get up. The room could have been cleaner when we checked in: the windows overlooking the view and the dusty phones didn’t look wiped down. Housekeeping responded quickly and efficiently, though, which is why I rated the room four stars.

Brass Fork was a highlight for us. The pasta, Cajun chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and country fried steak were all really good, and there are other places to eat at the hotel if you want more choices. The rooms are nice, it’s affordable, and there’s a casino right there if you’d rather stay on site. The Strip is close too, about a 10-minute Uber ride at most. I’d say it’s one of the better hotel options for a Vegas trip.
