The Cosmopolitan Of Las Vegas

We loved our stay! The room was huge, with a very comfortable bed and a big bathroom that had double sinks and a separate door for the toilet. There are lots of great restaurants on the property, and a special shout-out to Henry's. Bellagio, Cesar's, Paris, and more are an easy walk away. The view of the Bellagio Fountain Show was fantastic.

The view of the Bellagio fountains and the Sphere was the highlight, and the room, though older, was in better shape than Mandalay Bay. Staff were friendlier here too, and the $50 food vouchers were appreciated. The building and hallways are starting to look dated and could use a refresh. Like many Vegas hotels now, there was nobody to help with luggage, open the car door, or even open the front door when we arrived. It was a better experience than Mandalay Bay, but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return. I wouldn’t stay at Mandalay Bay again either.

The Arte museum is a spectacular showcase spread across many levels of the 50 story Cosmopolitan. Its virtual, holographic displays rework Vegas imagery with glittering, starry lights and art masterpieces. It’s an immersive experience for all five senses. Cosmopolitan sits centrally on the world famous Las Vegas boulevard, yet is one of the only non themed Strip 🎰 hotels. The name seems simple and neutral, though Cosmopolitan means a range of international sophistication. It earns its 5 stars as an appealing forum for art.

The pool was closed during our February weekend, which was a huge disappointment, though the hot tub was open. We arrived around 3pm without realizing it closed at 4, and there should be a sign. Everyone was surprised and disappointed when the lifeguard started blowing the whistle. Check-in also took what felt like forever in line. The location is ideal, right in the middle of everything. Our room was clean and spacious, with two sinks and a nice view. The lobby is separate from the casino, so it doesn’t smell of cigarette smoke, and the Chandelier Bar is beautiful. Parking was easy at $25 a night. Staff were very nice and gave us a 12pm late checkout, which was great. The MGM app may say parking and late checkout aren’t available, but they are.
