The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly, and parking is free. The gym has treadmills, an elliptical, and a Peloton bike. There was a simple breakfast, plus really good coffee available around the clock and a nice selection of Stash Teas. The guests we shared elevators with were kind, which I'll credit to how comfortable everyone seemed. Tru is a modern hotel with no-frills accommodations. Our room was ADA because a regular one wasn't available, so this may not apply to other rooms. It had no carpet or heavy drapes and a comfy bed. The shower setup was odd, though that may be the ADA layout, and personally I'd love to see rain shower heads disappear everywhere. For getting around, it's near dining and shopping at Town Square and the South Premium Outlet Center, right by the 215 beltway, with a 24-hour airport shuttle.

The hotel is basic and in an okay spot for visiting the Strip, but Skylar and Barbra at the front desk were amazing. They walked me through airport shuttle pickup and gave me good recommendations when my Grand Canyon tour went sideways. Barbra even went above and beyond to help Uber food to the hotel. I'd absolutely stay here again!

The lobby is a nice place to hang out, and they have board games to use. The room felt cozy and comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. The lobby and breakfast area are great too. It was only 2 to 5 miles from the places we needed to go, and it wasn't too noisy.

Willie deserves a shoutout for going above and beyond with customer service. The staff welcomed me and took great care of me during my business stay at Tru. Breakfast was okay. The airport is close, and the complimentary shuttle is a huge plus. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely return.

The rooms were average, with no major complaints, but I've had better service in run-down $50 hotels. There was only one person at the front desk, and a large group was checking in when I arrived, so it took a little over an hour before I could check in. Then I learned that someone else can't book for me unless they fill out a form or come in with me, which makes this a poor choice for business trips. The location was awful. I lost my charger at work, and since the desk had none, I had to walk 20 minutes to the nearest store. Breakfast starts and ends extremely early, so I missed it too. Worst hotel experience I've had in a long time.
