Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino

We were at Westgate for my daughter's three-day volleyball tournament at the convention center next door. The six-minute walk there was easy, and after a long day she earned the ride back on the Tesla Loop just outside the hotel. We had a seamless, enjoyable stay. The bellmen were on top of things, check-in was quick, and valet parking was worth it. Our room was clean and very nice, and we enjoyed the hotel amenities. The food court was a favorite, with big-screen TVs and great food. We're returning for another tournament in a few weeks and staying at Westgate again.

We came for a convention and had an incredible stay. When staff saw we had a baby, they upgraded us to a room with a microwave for her bottles. Everyone was so sweet, checking how we were doing and asking about our daughter. It was lovely to have such kind staff and a great atmosphere. The casino was incredible too, and my husband and father had a great time. The late-night food options were amazing. Definitely recommend staying here!

Benihanas, The Edge Steak House, Frescos Italian, Sids', Loco Bueno Tacos, and the food court have all been great places to eat during my stays. My Casino Host Mary Schaub looks after me well. I gamble a little, and though I’ve never hit a big jackpot, I’ve won enough to enjoy my time here. I’ve stayed at nearly every other hotel on the Strip, but I’ve never been shown the same courtesy and respect I get at the Westgate Hotel. I’ve been coming since it opened, when I was 22. I’m 80 now, and I still feel safe here. They’re dog friendly too, with no extra charge. I’m really an old fart, not a paid reviewer. I just love staying here and recommend it.

The rooms have been remodeled beautifully, and the staff were excellent, really friendly. The food they served was delicious too. That brisket was the best I’ve had outside Texas. I was there for a presentation, so I didn’t gamble. They said the building was built in 1969, making it the oldest hotel building in Vegas. Inside, the rooms look gorgeous, but the outside feels dated beside all the newer glass high-rises. The location was the big drawback for me. It’s far from the Strip and from anything fun or shopping, so expect to walk or take a cab. I’d only consider staying again if it were very inexpensive.
