The location is safe and convenient, and the rooms are very clean. Staff are polite and helpful, and they’ll help sort out any issues. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The cute light-up Halloween pumpkin at the check-in desk never let us down. Despite all the things that went wrong, I had a nice visit, and the hotel reduced our bill by about 25%. I really appreciate how patient and caring the staff were through the mess. The computer and card reader went down at check-in, so they had to process cards on paper, and mine was declined. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working either, but they had backup codes ready. Then the AC wouldn’t respond to its wall remote. A front desk worker tried replacing the batteries, and when that didn’t help, he offered us another room. We just asked for extra blankets, which he brought promptly. Just before 7 AM, the AC finally stopped, as the whole hotel had lost power. We took a dark but warm shower, then went down for breakfast, where the kitchen staff were doing their best.

The first room I was given smelled strongly of dog urine and mold, so I asked to move. The next room still smelled bad, including the pillows, even though it was supposedly a pet-free room for two months. This is a pet-friendly hotel with no non-pet room option, which is a serious problem when every room has carpet. The staff did replace a pillow when I asked, but it barely helped. The carpets, air quality, and cleanliness are unacceptable. It’s one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed in. I won’t book here again and wouldn’t recommend it.

The front desk was really friendly and even helped me zip up my backpack. The room smelled fresh without being overly perfumed, and the pool was a good size. Breakfast was better than I expected for this type of hotel. There was construction noise until 8 pm one night, though I’m not sure if the time change had anything to do with it. I’d come back.
