The upstairs living space makes the whole place work so well, with the kitchen opening straight onto the lanai. We stayed just over a week and wished we could have stayed for a month. It really feels like a private, grown-up treehouse, and you can tell the owners care about this little part of the world. The kitchen is ready for family cooking, from sharp knives and neatly arranged dishes to good pots and pans. You can eat at the wood-slab bar or gather around the table. Comfortable modern seating and lamps are where you need them, and the WiFi reaches throughout the house, including the shaded lanai and downstairs bedroom. All the showers are outside, while the overhanging roof gives cover during the frequent rain. I’d give it 25 stars if I could.
