Bryon at the front desk was great, and the staff were friendly all around with excellent customer service. The hotel has a small lounge for status members, with limited choices, but at least there’s something. It’s a very nice airport hotel. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the higher floors smell of jet fuel.

The hotel does what I need for a stay around a flight. This trip, though, we were put in a different room from the one we booked. They fixed it, but when you're tired, you don't need that hassle, and the room we wanted could have gone to someone else. It’s also frustrating that the garage keeps its parking level about 90% empty and no longer lets flyers or other people use those spaces, even though parking nearby is tight.

The room was good and the staff were really nice, but getting around the hotel had its snags. Only two of the four elevators were working, so there were long backups. Parking was confusing too, and the validation process meant we paid more than we should have. There’s a small coffee shop, which was fine, though it had very little food early in the morning, so plan for that.

The direct indoor walkway to Philadelphia International Airport was the main reason this stay worked so well for us. We could get from our room to check-in without going outside, which was a big help with our 5:00 a.m. flight. There’s also a free airport shuttle available on request. We slept comfortably before that early departure. The room was clean and neat, with cozy bedding and a quiet feel, and it was easy to fall asleep. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. We also found the restaurant and bar useful places to unwind before or after a long travel day. A dependable choice for a night before a flight or after a trip.
