The staff were very welcoming, and I enjoyed my stay. My bed was clean and comfortable, and there was a nice sized sitting area for breakfast. The breakfast gets an 8/10 from me. The waffles were my favorite, though I’d have liked a few more hot choices. The orange and apple juice from the machine were watery, and I’d give the coffee a 7/10 since it could’ve been stronger. Flavored creamers would be a nice addition. The room was clean overall, though there was hair on the toilet seat when I checked in and I found some in the sink later that night. The microwave’s door button didn’t work, so I had to open it by hand, and the plate inside wouldn’t spin.

I’d bring earplugs if you stay here, and a power strip or plug-in adapter with USB ports since there aren’t any in the room. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but the spring mattress has seen better days. You can hear it as soon as you sit down. This was my first and last stay. I always wipe down hotel rooms myself and was pleasantly surprised that most of this one was pretty clean. There was one white streak of something on the bed skirt. I cleaned it off before putting my sheet set over it. It’s not bad if you’re desperate.

Lisa at the front desk made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. She was friendly, approachable, and funny, and made our stay more enjoyable. She managed to make us laugh while still being professional and helpful. Lisa’s a real gem and a huge asset to the hotel.

Not worth even one star. The manager was very rude to customers. As someone who travels a lot and has stayed in countless hotels, hostels, apartments, huts, and more, I can confidently say this was the worst hotel check-in welcome I’ve ever had. Awful experience!
