One of the best campgrounds we’ve ever visited. Our beautifully maintained site was right on the river, and an easy path leads directly into town. Staff were incredibly friendly. The bathrooms were spacious, very clean, and accessible to registered guests by code. It’s a large facility with room for big rigs, yet it was still very quiet. We didn’t stay in the cabins, though they looked quite nice from outside.

It was quiet and nearly empty while we were there, so staying in this cabin felt secluded and closer to nature than town. It’s a five to seven minute walk to the springs. The cabin had its own bathroom and concrete patio, plus a porch with rocking chairs and a fire pit. It was very comfortable. Being a little away from town suited us.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice campground. When our water faucet leaked, the staff were courteous and responsive, and had it fixed that same day. We’d stay again and highly recommend it.

We had an awesome time, thanks to Claudia. I’d misunderstood something, and she was extremely accommodating and made sure our family got a suitable cabin. Best place in Lava!

Never stay here. They’re liars, and you may be charged for damage you didn’t cause. Our family was billed $1,100 for a door we didn’t break. Apparently the “cleaning lady” found it broken. Don’t trust this place. I strongly suggest finding somewhere else.
