The Gulf view, marina, beach, big pool, and hot tubs are lovely, but the service doesn’t match the location. The place feels isolated if you’re in a big RV without a car, so getting around means Uber, Lyft, or renting one. With the restaurant closed and no more entertainment nights, why isn’t there a food truck for guests in the meantime? There are too few bathrooms and showers for a place this size, and the ones available are very dated. The pool has also lost tables and several chairs that used to be there. There’s no internet, so without Starlink there’s no TV or decent connection. It feels like there’s no caring management pushing to make things better or keep guests comfortable.

We’re stuck here because they don’t offer refunds. There’s no restaurant, despite what was advertised, and the sites are packed right up against each other. It’s a gravel lot with weeds, water, and electric, plus no Wi-Fi, cable, or shade. The picnic tables have splinters. This is basically somewhere to spend one night before moving on. I can’t think of anything nice about the place.

We stayed in one of the cabins this time, and they’re like luxury mini homes with a million-dollar waterfront view. Our last visit was in an RV, and I’d thought of this as a five-star RV resort. We’ll be back.
