Super 8 Le Claire/Quad Cities

The room was clean and well kept, and they supplied shampoo, conditioner, lotion, face and hand soap, a makeup remover cloth, coffee, and tea. The staff were friendly, and the dog-friendly room had no dog smell. I’m impressed enough that I’ve booked another Super 8 at a different stop on my route from NY to Reno, NV. Very happy with this place and would stay here again.

We hadn’t booked ahead, but Shannon made getting a room easy and found us one that was better than expected. It had two queen beds, a recliner, small table, microwave and fridge, and a hair dryer. Everything was neat and clean, with towels already stocked. When we asked for more towels and soap, she brought them right up. For a reasonably priced, well cared for stop in this lovely town, I’d recommend the hotel. Shannon was awesome, so look for her when you visit.

For an overnight stop between Indianapolis and my parents’ farm, this simple hotel is just right. I’ve stayed several times, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. The rooms and hallways are clean and cared for. It’s a bit dated and has few amenities, so that may not suit everyone, but I only need a clean, comfortable place to sleep, and it earns high marks for that.

The reception staff went out of their way to welcome us and help with what we needed. Our room was tidy, clean, and stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths, and they even suggested a good place for dinner. Super 8 is the first hotel we’ve encountered that offered a military or veteran discount.
