Valu Stay Inn

The service was brief but good, and the woman was courteous. Still, I wouldn’t stay again: the bed was the hardest I’ve ever tried to sleep on, and the pillows were hard and flat. The room had a distinctive smell, even though it seemed relatively clean. The towels were old and stained, and the soap dispenser was empty. While we were out, it came unattached from the wall.

I own a cleaning company, so I was pleasantly impressed by how clean the rooms were. The bathroom in ours looked freshly remodeled. The mattresses are a little hard, and the place is outdated with few amenities, but it’s very affordable. I don’t really get why people are shocked by that.

The female owner at the front desk was rude and belligerent, and didn’t even want to give us toilet paper. She was sick the whole time we were there, sneezing and coughing everywhere, and my whole family ended up getting Covid. The rooms were dirty. We stayed here last month, and it was a horrible experience. It’s horrible that these people are allowed to take vouchers through the Salvation Army for families in need.

There were lots of police around, and I found hair on the bed sheets. Aside from that, it was a good, okay stay.
