Days Inn Lead

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was great, and the employees were kind and helpful. It was also well placed for visiting the area. Downtown Lead, Deadwood, Sturgis and Belle Fourche were close by. Devils Tower, Wyoming was a little over an hour away, while Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Keystone, Hill City, Custer and Custer State Park were about an hour's drive.

I’m staying here now. The hotel is clean, has a pleasant atrium feel, and the oversized parking garage is convenient. But the sheets are very scratchy, the walls are thin, and the young woman at the front desk came across as dismissive. I asked what gluten-free breakfast options they had, and scrambled eggs were the only thing to eat. She just stared blankly. I had a similar cold reception from her at check-in, for no apparent reason. I work in hospitality and rarely leave reviews, but I had a better stay at other hotels nearby that cost $100 less per night.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially Don and Dale. Thanks to them for the wonderful hospitality. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a spacious reception area, and breakfast was great. There’s free parking on site and easy access to Deadwood. Highly recommended. 🤩

This was the second hotel on our nine-city trip, and we were really glad we picked it. Lead is a gem, tucked between Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood and Rapid City, with a quieter, small-town feel. We could sit and walk outside. The rooms were clean, parking was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also gave us information about the area. Nothing went wrong and we had no complaints. We’ll stay here again when we’re nearby.
