The room itself was clean, welcoming, spacious, and very cozy, and being just a four-minute drive from town was a big plus. But the walls are incredibly thin. We could hear the people next door and upstairs, including talking, chairs scraping, toilets flushing, and water running. The upstairs guests weren’t especially loud; they were simply awake and walking around at all hours. It still put a damper on the vacation, and I’d suggest avoiding this place. The neighbors beside us were quieter but brought a dog and left it alone in the room all day, so it barked nonstop. Hosts of Alpine Family Haus Condo, please don’t allow pets when the walls are this thin. And guests, don’t leave your dog alone all day in an unfamiliar place like a piece of luggage. A dog can only be as absent-minded as its owners.

The mountain view made our stay even better, and Alpine Family Haus was cozy, clean, and welcoming. My fiancé and I spent a couple of days there, and I kept finding little things I’d wished I’d packed, from makeup wipes to hot chocolate. I loved how much thought went into the details. I love coming back to the Haus Condo. It’s extremely clean, cozy, roomy, and really well cared for, with a great location just a short walk from downtown.
