The location felt private and peaceful, tucked away from town but still close by. We stayed four nights in the Alpine Suite at Haus Hanika, and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Ted & Sandy are warm and welcoming, and seem to have thought of everything. The suite was stellar, with a private hot tub, a stunning river view, gas fireplace, and comfortable bed and chairs. Even the towels smelled nice. Breakfast amenities were plentiful, and the TV had all the streaming services. It was very quiet apart from the lovely sound of the river. A perfect mountain getaway for relaxing together.

The owners were hospitable, and we loved the peace and quiet. It's near town but away from the crowds, and the house is beautiful. Our private hot tub was lots of fun at night, and on the nights we went out, we got lucky and saw the Northern Lights! We can't wait to return, probably for three nights instead of two. The Chalet is by far the best room, with a hobbit door opening onto its private patio and hot tub. It's adults only, too.

I liked how much character the rooms had, and they came with plenty of amenities for our stay. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, and the riverfront setting and location were lovely. I usually enjoy a homemade B&B breakfast, though they had stocked the fridge with several food choices before we arrived. Thanks for a lovely visit!

They even made an early check-in work for us, and the owners were warm and welcoming. The property is beautiful and very well kept, right by the river. We had an amazing stay and would happily recommend this getaway.

We slept better than we ever have, thanks to what was probably the most comfortable mattress we've tried. The view was amazing, and the little couples hot tub was just right. The rooms are lovely and well equipped, and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. This is our new favorite place in Leavenworth!
