Pine River Ranch B&B

We stayed in the Nason Cabin, which was very comfortable. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, and there were several trails to walk. It's a very quiet location. We had a wonderful experience at PRR and will visit again. We'd recommend it.

I was really looking forward to staying here, but after this experience, I'd say run. They're extremely inflexible and don't communicate well. I wanted either a refund if the room was booked by someone else, or credit for another weekend even if it was. Patrick, who I believe is an owner, seemed willing to work with me on rescheduling and said I'd get my deposit back if someone booked the room. But after saying that, Patrick didn't open the room for booking, and then tried to charge my card for another night without my approval. Getting a response took several attempts, and the person I was communicating with stopped replying several times. I reached out several days before and got no response, then had to contact them again. They refused to open the room unless I paid for an extra night, which was completely unreasonable. Their policy says that within 30 days of cancellation they keep the entire deposit, and they try to charge for another night. It seems ridiculous to me, especially when the policy says they'd open the room. In response to the owners' bogus reply and lies, I was never offered “full credit for another time.” I'm glad to post screenshots showing that's completely untrue. If you can't stand by your policies and behavior, at least be truthful. Now I stand by my original review even more: these people are straight up liars. If this is so, please let me know and I'd gladly come collect my credit, since you never opened the room. Book something more flexible if you get the chance.

The breakfast was super yummy, and we enjoyed every moment. The room was gorgeous, luxurious, and really well furnished. Everything worked perfectly, and my wife and I were able to relax like we haven't in a while. An absolutely impeccable stay. We'd come back in a heartbeat if we weren't leaving the state!

Everything was set up before we arrived the night before our wedding, and the venue looked beautiful. My guests kept commenting on how lovely the space was. The staff were kind, attentive, and very professional, and breakfast was really, really tasty. I couldn't have asked for a better evening. Pine River Ranch made it all possible. Special shoutout to Patrick for making suggestions through the night that kept things moving smoothly. We'll be back! I'd give this venue ten stars if I could.
