Riverside Cabin

There were about 13 of us at the Riverside Vacation rental, the biggest one, and it easily fit everyone with room to spare. The windows let us see the gorgeous river from anywhere in the house, and the grounds and scenery were beautiful. It was clean and lovely, with games for the kids and a well-kept hot tub. My grandma joined us too, and since she has trouble getting around, the main-floor bedrooms with very few steps worked well for her. She'd been in the hospital when my husband and I married last summer, so we were able to take beautiful photos and renew our vows in front of her here. It was such a special place for family photos and memories. We went to Octoberfest one night, about a mile from the house, as was the rest of town. I recommend the rental for reunions, weddings, weekend visits, or holidays. One relative was so impressed that he's planning to rent it for Thanksgiving when it's next available. In just a few days we made wonderful memories, and none of us wanted to leave.

The house was huge, with lots of space for our family to gather, and it sits right on the river. There's beach access and a great swimming hole for kids. We could walk into downtown Leavenworth easily, and the property management team was quick to answer our questions. It was a great fit for our family gathering, and I'd recommend it.

We held our small November wedding at Riverside Properties, and the homes made a lovely setting to celebrate with the people we care about. Planning and communication with the team were seamless. Their good working relationship with Ravenous Catering and Gather Leavenworth helped make the whole day even better than we'd hoped. It's a wonderful spot for smaller events and family gatherings.

For our February 2015 wedding, we rented the cabin for 12 of us, including our parents and a few close friends. There was plenty of space, and the riverside setting was stunning. We got lucky with clear skies and weather around a balmy 60F. Our ceremony was outside by the fireplace, and we made great use of the kitchen and sound system over the celebratory weekend. The cabin was a short drive from central Leavenworth, where we had our rehearsal dinner and some post-ceremony fun at the hat shop and Icicle Brewing. It was the perfect place for a winter wedding, and we hope to return for anniversaries.
