Berry Patch Bed and Breakfast

We ended up at the bed-and-breakfast unexpectedly when extreme winter temperatures made the tiny cabin we’d booked on the same property impossible to stay in. The owner moved us over without hesitation, and I’m so glad she did. The home was warm, charming, and comfortable, and the gorgeous views made the stay feel like a peaceful getaway. The meals were delicious and clearly made with care. Even though our plans had gone sideways, I felt spoiled by how relaxing and welcoming it was. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet break with a host who really cares about her guests.

The house was beautiful inside and out, with lovely Christmas decorations, and Karen was a sweet, welcoming host. We enjoyed talking with her and the other guests. Breakfast was fresh, warm, and delicious, and our room was just the right size for an overnight stay while we were in town for a wedding. The bedroom decor was old-fashioned, but I liked its charm. The bed felt like a cloud to me, though my boyfriend prefers a firm one, which was his only complaint. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi hot tub. My boyfriend liked it, though he joked that bigger is better. We’d stay again if we’re in the area, and the other guests seemed happy too.

Karen made our small sunflower wedding feel special and stress-free, taking care of all the details and even bringing us breakfast herself twice. The food was a hit, from breakfast to cookies, mac and cheese, charcuterie boards, and dinner. Guests are still talking about it. The property is stunning, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. We stayed at The Berry Patch Bed & Breakfast and used it for both our venue and catering. It was just right for our intimate wedding with 35 people. Karen helped with a tour and tasting during planning, then made setup and the day itself run smoothly. We’re grateful and hope to return, maybe for an anniversary. Highly recommend this lovely venue and host.

The hilltop setting and beautiful views made a wonderful backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The food was excellent, prices were very reasonable, and we got lots of compliments on the meal. Servers and bartender were polite, professional, and attentive all evening. The cottage was spacious enough for my bridesmaids and me, four girls under 12, both our mothers, my hairdresser, and makeup artist to get ready together comfortably. Karen also made sure I could have breakfast early on the wedding morning, and it was delicious. I held both my rehearsal and wedding at this venue. From the start of planning in 2024 through our event on September 13th, 2025, Karen listened to what we wanted, stayed responsive, and made sure everything was set up as I’d imagined. She was kind, professional, and accommodating to our guests, and even took on jobs family members had planned to handle so they could enjoy the day. At the end of the wedding, she packed food for my husband and me to take to our rented cottage since we hadn’t eaten much. Sean, the innkeeper, was wonderful too. He drove my husband’s 99-year-old grandfather by golf cart wherever he needed to go, from the ceremony to the reception and restroom. That kindness meant a lot to us. I’d rate the venue 10/10. The team went above and beyond, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thanks again, Karen, for making it so special.
